People are pushing back against AI. This report outlines the initial findings from a UK survey of current attitudes to AI, including where people choose to limit or reject the use of AI tools. The survey of 2,055 UK adults was carried out by Deltapoll for King’s Digital Future Institute and RAi UK across 12th-15th June 2026. We also provide insight from a roundtable hosted at King’s College London on 24th February 2026 on AI: friction, rejection, and resistance.
