The RAi UK Skills Programme is dedicated to fostering, supporting and scaling the impact of multi-disciplinary and cross-sectoral exchange within the AI ecosystem. Our mission is to support diverse, multidisciplinary teams in co-creating resources alongside businesses, government entities, educational institutions, and the public to cultivate a robust responsible AI skills base in the UK, and sharing our lessons learnt internationally.

Our programme explores four foundational pillars:

  • National Responsible AI Skills Frameworks:
Further establishing standards and benchmarks for Responsible AI competencies across the nation.
  • Upskilling/Reskilling Initiatives:
Supporting the development of innovative training models and resources within or across industries and sectors on responsible AI themes, and for diverse groups of developers, implementers, regulators and users.
  • Raising Public Awareness:
Enhancing the impact of RAI UK research by translating its significance to a general audience.
  • Increasing Equity in AI Development and Use:
Addressing disparities and promoting equitable opportunities in AI education and research.
