This free, day-long event brings together experts from a range of fields to discuss the ethics of implementing AI in healthcare.

As Artifical Intelligence (AI) technology rapidly advances across healthcare, critical ethical challenges emerge. Is it safe for AI to prescribe medications? Can clinicians ethically rely on AI for diagnoses? How do we build trust in AI systems? What role does patient subjectivity play in this evolving landscape? Are we at risk of dehumanization in AI-driven medicine? And how can both clinicians and patients stay empowered during these transformative times?

Join us for an engaging in-person, free event dedicated to the ethics of AI in healthcare. This day will feature insightful keynote speeches and dynamic panel discussions that tackle the ethical dilemmas of implementing AI in routine clinical care. Our speakers will share effective strategies for stakeholders to translate ethical principles into actionable practices, ensuring human integrity in medicine. Topics will range from accountability and legal liability to the risks of dehumanization and disempowerment.

This event will unite thought leaders from academia, government, the medical sector, industry, and the patient community. Together, we will explore our collective responsibility in proactively addressing ethical risks and safeguarding human dignity in an AI-driven medical future.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with experts, share ideas, and contribute to a vital conversation about the future of ethics in healthcare.

This event is led by Dr Raquel Iniesta, Reader in Statistical Learning for Precision Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London.
