Sana Khareghani has 20+ years’ experience in technology and business across the private and public sectors. She has worked as a software engineer in big corporations and start-ups, as a management consultant advising C-suite internationally, and in HMG, as the inaugural Head of the UK Government Office for AI leading the team to publish the UK’s National AI Strategy and invest £1billion in the UK AI ecosystem. Sana is currently Professor of Practice in AI at King’s College London and AI Policy lead for Responsible AI UK, a £35 million grant seeding and connecting responsible AI research and innovation. Sana is a Trustee for the Institute for the Future of Work and Board member for Technovation, a non-profit organisation aiming to bring more women and girls from underrepresented communities around the world into technology.
