Dr. Deborah Olukan

King's College London representative ECR Board

Deborah is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in AI for Social Good at King’s College London. She is a co-investigator on two RAi UK cornerstone projects: ARTificial Intelligence (ART-I) and A Techno-Regulatory AI Sandbox (TRAIS), delivered in partnership with the Centre for Responsible AI (CeRAi), India. Deborah also serves as co-Principal Investigator on Multidisciplinary Collaboration in AI Research (MCAIR), part of the RAi UK Skills Pillar. In addition, she represents early career researchers as an ECR Representative on the RAi UK Equities Pillar and as the King’s College London ECR Representative on the RAi UK ECR Board.
Deborah holds an Integrated PhD and MSc in Data Analytics, with a focus on agent-based modelling. Her expertise lies in computational social science, bridging the technical and social dimensions of AI. Her research explores the intersections of AI, robotics, and society, with particular interest in value-based and responsible design.
