Jason du Preez is VP of Informatica, leading the development and delivery of data access and privacy management capabilities.
Jason was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. His career started in the UK as a software engineer but he quickly went on to setup his first start-up, m35, which later sold to Thomson Reuters.
He went on to setup Privitar, with co-founder John Taysom, as a mission-oriented start-up looking to enable the ethical and responsible use of data for good. Privitar’s platform is used today by leading organisations across a range of industries and geographies to protect sensitive data for analytics and insight.
